What’s in My Bag?

My current bag, featuring the most up-to-date and loved essentials.

THE BAGSSENTIALS.
Scroll down for list and links for what’s in my bag and on my bag!

I didn’t realize how many little things I had in my bag until I hopped onto creating this type of video. I loved seeing what was in other people’s bags. It’s like an insight to their character and what they use and love. It’s such a cute girl thing ♄

The only thing that really changes every time I go out is probably my touch up makeup for the day. I also recently picked up a Canon G7X Mark III that will be taking over my Sony for going out! It’s the best, compact little camera. I use my Sony now for at home/studio filming and G7X MIII for studio and everything else. It really lives up to the hype and I will take no Canon slander.

On my bag are an accumulation of trinkets, chains, and keychains. Many accumulated over time, and some recently purchased. I have a lot of accessories and little random objects that I bought here and there but never used. I’ve always thought of doing something with them. Though I had some charms mainly on my keychains, I never got around to just using them on my bag as much. I’m really happy about the charms trend because it’s more of a realized staple for me. It inspired me to utilize my “junk collection”. I love re-using things that I have. I also started to purchase and add some other charms for the intention of making the bag cute and have some character. It brings a child-like play. Sitting there and seeing how your charms mix and match is so innocent and fun. You get to see and appreciate each story the charm adds.

With all this cuteness does have some hate though. I had some TikTok’s pop up on my FYP that were people bashing on the charm trends?! Keep in mind always, that it’s the internet. There literally are people expressing why they hate circles. Whenever I see videos like this I’m like…babe, unclench. There was also a creator that went pretty..journalistic about it. I got the ick and swiped to the next video. If what you see doesn’t make you more wise, happy, or positively entertained like cat videos do, skip. I’m just saying this here because I want to remind that you can do whatever the f you want. I see others hopping on internet opinions without a thought, scarily often.

Current bag: Louis Vuitton Delightful MM.
I bought this bag when I was around 19 years old. I’m 31 now. I used it a good amount and then put it away in my closet to rest. It sat there for years.. well, maybe used a couple more times by my moms. It was a great, roomy bag and it never busted anywhere, but it just didn’t match my style anymore. Or so I thought. UNTIL, the charms trend. Now I love it again. More than I did before. Whenever I can re-use or add life or a twist to something I barely use, I’m ecstatic, girl. So happy that I can use it again.

In the bag:

✧ Pusheen Agenda – I’m hard on the outside and very much mochi-gal on the inside. I squeal at anything cute. This little agenda has Pusheen and friend animations all over the agenda. The pages are more of a plastic-y feel, so I have to write it with a fine tip sharpie or else it’ll smear. It makes me feel cute and fancy. I had fine tip sharpies that I stored away and haven’t used, so again, using things that I haven’t used for a long time!? H-a-p-p-y.

✧ iPad Air & Case – I love doodling. I think every creator should have an iPad or tablet with them at all times. I bought it purely because I wanted to doodle as I pleased. Anytime, anywhere. I wanted something lighter and smaller than a laptop for on-the-go, but also something that pretty much has the capabilities of a laptop. I only brought my iPad while travelling. It feels more safe and sturdy than bringing a laptop. I also carry it with me most of the time, especially if I need to go somewhere that I may have to wait for a while like doctors appointments or lineups. Instead of dreading time waiting, I’m enjoying my time instead. I get to read books on my iPad, I get to doodle anytime an idea hits onto the ProCreate app (my fave), or browse the internet on a bigger screen.

✧ 101 Essays that will change the way you think by Brianna Wiest – It took me more than 2 years to finish this book. I wanted to savour it. I would only take it out whenever I was in an emotional rut. If I was too impatient I would flip to a random page and read it. It would always guide me to reassurance, healing, or wisdom. I love this author to bits and I highly recommend this book to anyone who is the emotional type. It regulates my anxiety, reassure me at sad times, and gives insight into a better way to think. It’s a positive, realistic, uplifting experience of a book. Also, use  highlighters a lot! I highlight a lot so when I go back, it can draw me into words, passages, and phrases that I know will help with whatever I’m going through. I also have this book downloaded on my books app. So if by chance I can’t bring the physical book and I’m having some sort of negative thoughts or anxiety while I’m out, I can ground myself again easily with the digital version.

✧ LV epi leather pouch – a little zip pouch I use for makeup touchups. This was gifted to me from my darling mama a long time ago. I’m not sure of the exact name, but I think it’s been discontinued for a long time. I may use this for another purpose because I find it may be a bit too small. It’s currently about to explode from my beauty products and can barely zip up.

✧ Santal 33 Roller Ball – I am intoxicated by sandalwood scents. A lot of the fragrances I use have some sort of wood in it IF not Santal. If I go out and I’m looking for a new fragrance, any fragrance I end up loving has sandalwood in it. The way Le Labo blends it is so alluring and calming at the same time. I can’t get enough of it. This is almost always in my bag. It’s either this or it’s direct dupe, Maison Louis Marie No. 4 (oil version).

✧ Holika Holika Jelly Blush (apricot) – bouncy, bouncy, jelly blushes! I have oily but severely dehydrated skin. Powders are classics, but this jelly-type blusher is more moisturizing and blends more easily into skin. It melts instead of sit. You can use your fingers or its little puff that comes with it. I have a neutral undertone and I find that coral, beige blushes suit me the most for daily wear.

✧ Make Up For Ever Artist Color Pencil “Anywhere Caffeine” – These pencils have been around for a while now and the love for it isn’t slowing down. It’s multi-purpose, making it a true “artist” pencil. You can use it for your eyes, lips, wherever on your face.

✧ MAC Viva Glam Lipstick “Viva Planet” – Part of the Viva Glam Program of giving back. Wear this with love and pride! It’s a lovely nude shade. By itself, I can’t wear it, but paired with a deeper tone brown lip liner? Beautiful.

✧ KVD Clamshell Mirror – I like it because it’s shiny, it’s gold, it’s luxurious, and reminds me of those gawwwgeous vintage mirrors. It was a PR gift and they use to sell it but now they’re discontinued. Alternatively, if you love vintage compact mirrors, Etsy always sells either the authentic vintage mirrors or vintage-inspired ones.

✧ MAC Lip Conditioner – for shine and moisture. This one has no smell, no color, and is a in a tube where you squeeze the amount you need. Similar tube-style lip balms that also add glossy shine/moisture:  Tower28, Summer Fridays, and Ole Henriksen

✧ Sony ZVE10 or Canon G7X Mark III – collecting and having these two feels like finally having all the infinity stones. Especially with the Canon G7X. I felt like I travelled all over the digital world to find it.

✧ Power Bank & Multi-Charging Cable – My phone always has to be above 70% or I panic. There were times when I went out thinking I’d just be out for 10 minutes but it turned into hours and my anxiety was through the roof because my phone was going to die and I would have no way of calling my ma.

✧ Salt & Stone Santal Hand Cream – Because I am obsessed with sandalwood, I searched for the perfect sandalwood scented hand cream. This luxurious, minimalistic packaged hand cream popped up. Not only does it look perfect but it IS perfect. My favourite hand cream HANDS DOWN. Badum-tss. It smells heavenly but not artificial, and it properly moisturizes WITHOUT the greasy finish. It absorbs quick into the skin and makes your hands soft. It’s one of the most perfect daily hand creams to carry with you all the way through the Fall and Winter seasons. If you have extremely dry hands though, maaybe I wouldn’t recommend it. I mainly got it for the vibes, but stayed for the product performance.

✧ Tissues – for my issues.
✧ LV Compact Wallet – another gift from my mama.
✧ Chill Pills Box – contains actual chill pills (Lexapro, let’s go!)
✧ AirPods & Case with fluffy blue charm & keychain – music on, world off!
✧ Hand Sanitizer – begone icky germs.
✧ Stone Comb – Steve Austin. I kid, it’s a PR gift from Authentic Beauty Concept.
✧ Star Phone Case

Bag charms & Keychains:
Most of my keychains are super cheap and from Aliexpress. Straight from the source. Others, I’ve either made it or collected while travelling and getting one of those I love LA souvenir keychains, tehe. But mostly from my girl, Miss Ali of express.
